This program offers public relations professionals some best practices in corporate America and important research about this important community.Â
Chris Crespo is an inclusiveness consultant at Ernst & Young, where she leads their LGBTA inclusion efforts. She is actively involved in True Child, National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, the Pittsburgh GLBT Corporate Roundtable, and Out & Equal Workplace Advocates.
Dr. Brenda J. Wrigley, APR is chair of the Department of Public Relations at Syracuse University. She teaches a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Her primary research focus is gender and diversity in public relations.
Travis Parman, APR oversees national LGBT outreach at General Motors where he has executed programs, such as the first gay day at any auto show and “Dating in the Fast Lane,” gay speed-dating in cars at a pride event. Parman is an Accredited PRSA member and serves as the national professional adviser to the Public Relations Student Society of America.
