Back when I lived in sunny Southern California, a neighbor told me that to really make my rose bushes blossom, I should prune them — cut them back carefully, so that when they rebounded, they would be stronger, healthier and more vigorous.

Diversity Takes Center Stage at PRSA International Conference

Monday, September 20, 2010

On Saturday Oct. 16, the eve of the PRSA 2010 International Conference, eight public relations and media organizations from the Greater Washington D.C. area will converge for an evening of networking and fellowship at a local lounge. We’re thrilled with PRSA’s involvement in this great event. Not only is this a fantastic opportunity for networking and open dialogue, it’s a chance to foster future relationships amongst related organizations.

In January, the PRSA San Francisco Chapter helped organize a similar event which was a huge success, attracting more than 150 people from nine different organizations. There was so much buzz about all the groups coming together and getting to meet each other, everyone wanted more. Another successful mixer was held in June and plans are underway for 2011.
